Transfiere reached its eighth edition. Pythagoreans called the number eight “Ogdoad” and considered it the “little holy number”. The number 8 is a lucky number in China. It takes eight minutes for the sun’s light to reach the earth.
More than 150 professionals have gathered at the breakfast-colloquium “Talent Woman by Transfiere & Alastria”, which has claimed female leadership in the field of engineering and mathematics.
This year the event had 4,500 visits and more than 1,800 public and private companies related to the Spanish economy. In this event we found representatives from: the aeronautical, oceanographic, and aerospace industries; virtual reality; robotics; age-care-tech; legal advisors related to GDPR; energy; infrastructure and transport; environment; technological platforms and projects; health and information; and communication technologies. All of them brought projects to Transfiere with a great potential for internationalization.
As most of the people who are part of the translation industry know, every company that needs internationalization requires translation and localization services to carry out this task.
Internationalization is the task of expanding a project or a company internationally. For this reason, we were present at this event for the third year in a row.
This event had Japan as a visiting country, although the forum has had attendees from 40 nationalities and active delegations from Argentina, Portugal or the Arab Emirates. The event organizers are already working on the proposals and contents for Transfiere 2020.
Among the interesting topics of this year, the one that caught our attention was about robotics. During this year’s forum we had the opportunity to see in situ how robots were capable of acting as tour guides, security guards or ticket verifiers, for example.
At Jensen Localization, we are open to changes and innovation. And we want to help any company, project, organization that may require internationalization. Do not hesitate to contact us to find out how we can collaborate.
