Chicago, USA – Conference looks at disparities in health care

CHICAGO – The Illinois Public Health Institute is holding a conference on addressing disparities in health care.

The conference Thursday features a workshop on how medical professionals can work effectively with a trained interpreter and how to prepare documents for translation.

A panel discussion with officials from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is also planned.
