Aviation week London

The aviation week is a global event for aeronautic manufacturers, maintenance and repair organizations (MRO) and other companies related to the aviation industry. It took place at the ExCeL London venue. This titanic construction is sitting proudly by the Royal Victoria Dock. ExCeL is bringing trade and industry to the docks, generating over £2.3 billion of economic impact for the British economy.

Jensen Localization was present at this event to keep on increasing our networking scope, to find new business opportunities. Our representative, Nicolás, was there to find ways to increase the collaboration between the translation and the aviation industries.

This event was compounded of two major expositions: The Helitech International 2017 and the MRO Europe.

Approximately more than 8220 attendees visited the aviation week.

There were around 411 MRO and 200 Helitech exhibitors present at the event.

Among the participants of these events were world known trademarks as Boeing, Czech Airlines, Embraer, Iberia, Hutchinson, Airbus, Bell and many more.

The organization and the security of the event was remarkable, using high tech to track all visitors, and the use of a mobile app to ease networking and increment business opportunities.

Even though several aviation industry members realized that their business uses mainly the English language in documentation and user manuals, mostly due to the technical complexity of the materials, most of them recognized that translation is an important part of their industry. Side documentation and marketing materials still need to be translated and localized to reach new clients globally.
