TAUS Executive Forum, Copenhagen May 19-21
As members of TAUS and TDA organizations, Alicia attended the annual TAUS Executive Forum held at Hotel D’Anglaterre in Copenhagen, from May 19 to May 21.
This is a forum of exchange of views regarding the changing trends in the localization industry, which is moving fast towards automated translation. Some of the participants showed examples of the use of MT tools on specific projects and language, and how the translation memories uploaded to TDA can help to train MT systems and therefore obtain more leverage. Alicia also attended a workshop about how to evaluate MT output using several metrics like BLUE, METEOR and TER.
Jensen Localization is new in the automated translation field and does not want to stay behind these new revolution in the localization industry. We are interested in learning more about post-editing and advanced leveraging tools so that we can adapt our procedures to the changing needs of our clients.
This forum is also an opportunity to meet people sharing the same interests as Jensen Localization, and to meet some of our existing clients.
